I wish I had not posted previous comments on the game @ Faymonville....which turned out to be the lowest point of the season. We are leaders, Faymonville had only won one game all season. Final result: Faymonville 4- Liege 1....

And then, 2 weeks later, just for the sake of having final confirmation that there is something broken in the team that was just fucking unstoppable (Copyright RP ) prior to Xmas, we drew at home 1-1 vs Aywaille which was in a very run lately...

So, all in all, we are back at square One: Walhain and RFC Liege, both 1st, both with 48 points....Our history has told us that there is never anything easy for us, we always do it the hard way. We all believed it would be different this season but well, history has come back to haunt us....

This week is Saturday night football with a long trip to Bertrix (some of you witnessed the first game at Home). One we really need to win and one which considering KO time and distance which anyway promise a great deal of entertainment...

Keep the faith in these hard times for the mustavalkoinen....

Painajaismainen ottelu sunnuntaina jäi Christophe Kinet'n viimeiseksi RFCL:n päävalmentajana. Ymmärrettävä(hkö) paniikkinappulan painallus, mutta olisi seuraikonille toivonut toisenlaista loppua. Tarinassa tai olla jotain tuttuja elementtejä Palloseuran viime kaudesta.

So we fucked it up big time.....having been top of the league for almost all season, we do finish 2nd....the "highlight" and direct cause for this was the game that unfortunately some of you had the displeasure to witness (0-4 home defeat vs Couvin.... ). Rumour has it that some of our players do not want to play higher.... which resulted in a very clear message given to them by the Firm after the game @ Namur.

SO, for the 3rd time in 3 seasons, we are playing these fucking PO. Good point is that the draw has been kind to us...

1st game (Sunday): Liege vs Cité Sport
2nd game if we win, away at Aywaille of Uccle (would be an historical game as Uccle is also one of the oldest club in BE).
3rd game and final home s most probably a team playing to stay in the 3rd League (Bornem of Neerpelt).

Tänään Liegellä kauden avausmatsi, Cup-karsinta Jeunesse Taminesia vastaan. Päättyi hetki sitten 3-2-tappioon ja cupista samantein pihalle.
